- great western: ithought this movie was put together very well and when i watched it on vhs so when it became available on DVD i re purchased it we have watched the lonsome dove series numerous times as a family and will continue to do so
- Excellent Adventure: Any Larry McMurtry film is great on the screen, but the "Return to Lonesome Dove" doesn't equal it's original. You can't replace Tommy Lee Jones with Jon Voight. I did enjoy the story line and Rick Schroeder and Louis Gossett Jr. were excellent.
- Return to Lonesome Dove: I bought "Return to Lonesome Dove" for my husband for Valentine's Day. We watched it together and he commented that he thought if was as good or maybe better than "Lonesome Dove". My son watched it and said "When are they going to come out with the next one?" Excellent movie.
pb - not as good as the original: transaction went well. The movie is not as good as the original. Sequels usually arent though.
- Return to Lonesome Dove: Great continuation of story of Lonesome Dove. Very interesting. Keeps your interest going all the time until the end.
