Customer Reviews:
- Second time reviewed: I love greatest hits albums that we put out before someone got MEGA-POPULAR. This is one of those. Great songwriting on this one, but not the hits you will now hear on the radio. More country than rock on this album.
- One of my favorites!: This CD is one of my personal favorites by Toby. Besides the obvious reason that they are most of Toby's early hits, I love the song "A Woman's Touch", and I love the way the songs are put in chronological order so you can hear how his amazing songwriting and singing ability grew through the years. Though, in all honesty, I really don't see how he could improve on "Cowboy"- one of my favorites... but he did.
I highly recommend this CD for anyone who is a fan of Toby Keith's God-given talents and abilities!
- Don't buy this!: I totally agree with the review "A music fan" wrote. Mercury didn't want Toby's bold and very creative writing, but now they are trying to cash in! Isn't it great they at least sold him his own songs back for the CD "How do you like me now"? They refused to release the CD and the rest is history with his new label. :-)
- Toby At Mercury: This CD is obviously not for you if you want all of Toby's hits up 'til today. But if you're a true Toby fan, this is a nice addition to your CD collection of him. The Millennium Collection nicely captures Toby's hit making days at Mercury Records. Although Getcha Some and a couple more are missing, it does include other greats like Should've Been A Cowboy, Who's That Man, Dream Walkin', Wish I Didn't Know Now, and eight more.
- millenium collection: I am a great fan of Tobey Keith's music, and I think this album is great! whether the songs are repeated on his greatest hit's or not, people who love Tobey Keith should know that no matter what album it is , We the fans are keeping him at #1. I believe that if your trying to get all his music, you should go all the way even if there's reapeats, so let's go all the way for Tobey, besides we all waste money on other things!right!
