- Good headset: Happy with the product - required a little tuning of the sound feedback settings, but overall a good headset for the price.
- Good sound quality - poor comfort: I have no issue on how the product worked, however the comfort of the ear piece was bad. It was made of cheap plastic and despite having 3 different sizes, I could only wear it for 2 minutes max. I ended up returning in exchange for Plantronics CS70N.
- Good Deal on Headset: Our sales team uses these. I've been told that they are comfortable and work really well. At one point we had to send one in for repair, which the company took care of and even sent back to us free of charge. I recommend this product because the price is reasonable for what you are getting, and the customer service of the company that sells the product is top notch.
- lantronics CS-55: I was looking at a hands free headset for home use, when I purchased the CS 55. It was not clear that you needed a PSTN adaptor if you want to use it in a home environment. (with cordless phones).
I was able to find the right plantronics adaptor an it is working fine at home, I later discovered that there is a CS-55H Home edition, but for me it was more practical to purchase the adaptor than to ship back the CS 55 and pay for shipment again for the CS 55H.
my wife complaints that the range is not as wide as I thought, but I have not played with the adjustments yet. - Almost Perfect: I use this wireless headset for up to 8 hours at a time. I had to make several initial adjustments to the headset base to obtain a favorable speaker volume. The headband around the headset does not allow sufficient room to comfortably remove the microphone away from the mouth (2 fingers). The mouthpiece can slide up and down in front, above or below the mouth. I also own a wired Plantronics S12 headset which includes a feature that allows you to pull the mouthpiece away from your mouth without moving the headband. This omission from the wireless design is a major inconvenience for me. I gave the headset 4 stars anyway because I get crystal clear reception all over my house with no interference from other appliances.
