- decent for the price: IF YOU LIKE NON APPLE PRODUCTS BECAUSE OF PRICE,THIS IS A NICE ALTERNATIVE.WHEN I FIRST USED IT THE VIDEO HAD A SHADOW TO IT.I SIMPLY PULLED THE PLUG OUT SLIGHTLY AND THE VIDEO SHOWED UP JUST FINE.FOR THE UNBEATABLE PRICE GO AHEAD ITS WORTH IT.
- Works okay: Video is a bit persnickety - have to fiddle with the connector in the iPod socket for clear connection.
- Not Too Bad but Not Too Good: This product isn't awful for the price that it is offered for, but it is cheaply made and it doesn't work perfectly. I have a video ipod and the cable is compatible with it, but when I watch movies on a tv when using it, there is always a humming noise, this may not have anything to do with the cable, but I think that the cause is the fact that the cable plugs into the headphone output, and not the other output on the bottom of my Ipod (whatever it is called)
- An excellent product for the price paid.: Once you make sure that this cable is compatible with your ipod; this works beautifully and you can't beat the price.
It worked perfect with my ipod (5th gen) and the picture quality looks great on TV. - How can you not buy this?: The inexpensive cable (similar cables elsewhere cost upwards of 40 dollars) turned my 30gb video iPod into a part time DVR. I don't see how anyone could pass on this deal!?! The only bad reviews I've read are from people who have later than 5.5 generation iPods (iPod Classics or touch) this won't work with their model but if you have any of the earlier models then this cable is essential. I ordered mine with an additional travel charger which cost only 2 dollars extra (bringing the order up to a grand total of 7.99 shipped!!) this is convenient because you can plug in your iPod while you are displaying videos and it won't discharge in the middle of the viewing. This is the best $1.67 I've ever spent.
