Customer Reviews:

  • Does anyone lese have this problem??: I bought these for only ONE reason! To try to fight back against the totally retarded parents who INSIST ON BRINGING a baby under 2 on any plane just because they don't have to pay! How can these people be so inconsiderate? Just because they are deaf from their little darlings' screaming doesn't mean the other 250 people on the plane should suffer!! Anyway, the low sounds like the engines of the 767, the noise can works for OK. But that's not what I mind so much as the high pitched screams of these holy terrors!! Do they work in the high end for anybody else Please?
  • Don't Buy It... Read Why.: The headphones were good, but mine died after 6 months. Since the product only has a 90-Day warranty, I can't get them repaired or get the money back. My new headphones will not be by Panasonic.
  • Very good but not perfect: This is a very good product. I recommend them. It cancels the low and repetitive sounds very well. The mid range is reduced somewhat (just as the manufacturer described). They are not perfect but I found the issues were within expectations.
    - The size of the ear cup was just big enough, any smaller and it would be an issue. I am a medium sized guy.
    - they do 'leak' noise. But the volume must be somwwhat high and someelse must be within 2 feet. On an airplane the person next to you may hear you if you play load but it is still less than the engine noise.
    - The head fit and adjustment was fine.
    - The full ear cups get hot when you are working. But they do help with the external sound.
    - The sound production is fine.
    - They are well constructed.
    - The case is very good also
  • Works Great With AT&T Tilt Phone: After receiving these headphones, installing the battery and flipping the switch, the greatest thing I noticed was the lack of noise coming from my computer. Oh joy, joy,,, no more fan noise. Made a few tweaks to my AT&T Tilt phone, installed the SRS Wow for music control sound, and I was impressed. Bass, as good as the Bose, as I was at the Bose store and tried the Bose with the Tilt (with the SRS Wow installed). I almost paid the unseen price for those puppies, and how glade I did not. I tried other headphones, but was not really impressed with music tones. These Panasonic's sound as nice as the other ("BOSE") and the noise cancelling was right on. A little white noise in the back ground, but you would not be kept awake by it either, kind of soothing to a point but not annoying to me. Music at 5% just enough to hear, and you would not hear any white noise at all. By the way, the only way you hear that noise is, if you are a completely silent room. An airplane is not silent. The constant noise of the jets became a dull sound, people talking you could hear, but not really clear unless they are right in front of you. Really, really nice for the price, and I have to buy another pair for my girlfriend (almost ex-girlfriend when I went to sleep on the plane ;) )

Worth the price? Yes. Quality built (I guess the Chinese built something good) good quality so far..?? Battery life, lasted longer than my Tilt Phone playing MP3's did, and only uses 1 AAA battery!! Lovely...

Try them, If you don't like them, return them in 30 days, but if you really try them on a plane or a place where there is a low frequency noise, you'll end up keeping them..

Went on a plane trip from Florida to Texas and actually went to sleep with these on. No discomfort, a little warm around the ears (memory foam will do that), but all in all a great ride.
  • Excellent quality!: I just bought these and used them on a trip from the east coast to Hawaii.
They blocked out a huge amount of aircraft noise. Great sound with my portable dvd player as well as my ipod. I had read reviews about poor sound quality with ipods, but it worked flawlessly with mine. I compared sound with my brother's sony noise cancelling headphones in mid-flight, and the panasonics blew away the sonys. Not even close. These were almost on the level of Bose, but 1/2 the price.
I paid $129 on Amazon and it was well worth it.
