- Amazing Sound - A Little Too Much Bass, But Fixable. Amazing!: My favorite Sony headphones, which have been to many countries and beaches finally fell apart after four years. I have been looking at the Bose In-Ear Headphones for about a year and finally went for it after reading the reviews.
Initially I HATED these. The first afternoon I had them, I was going to return them. I hated how they sat in the ear, how the bass seemed overwhelming. I read the reviews again, thinking I had been hoodwinked. One of the reviews said give them a week. So I did.
If took me all of two days to realize these things are the same quality of product as all of my other Bose gear.
- First - Try all the different buds that come with it. You may find, as I did, your ears fit different sizes.
- Second - These are not "buds" like your Sony's, they don't fit INTO your ear, rather on the cusp. Once you realize this, and get the right fit, you realize that they are quite comfortable.
- Third - Mess with the EQ settings in iTunes or your iPod or whatever music player you use. Why? Because the bass in these earphones is very, very present. Once you get it right - amazing. Highs are so crisp, you think you are listening to a high-end stereo. Mids so present that you feel surrounded, and bass so heavy that your teeth rattle!
- Fourth - You may want to rip all of your music at a higher bitrate. Why? Because all of the sudden you are hearing notes and sounds that you have never imagined were in your music. I have found myself pulling up CD's that I had left for dead.
I have used these everyday while doing cardio (walking, eliptical and cycling) and they don't fall out. I also tested this by jumping around doing some head banging moves. I have been to the beach with them and the pool. They are built Bose tough. Also comes with a nifty case that will hold an iPod and your headphones.
Also, you can order (for free) from Bose's website additional buds in case you lose them. I did and they were shipped in about two days.
In my opinion, and I am very into music and the quality of sound, I would buy these again if they ever got destroyed or stolen.
My Sony's lasted 4 years, lets see if these can beat that. - better than stock for sure! and a bit more: I always hear people complain that BOSE is this and that.. too expensive. I agree it is but hey that is why its a BOSE! i am not a big BOSE fan BTW, this was my first real BOSE product ever bought. It a very nice product and i have had it for a good 4 months. I got these because it really became too noisy in my new job and i no longer have a closed office.
The sound is crisp (especially on audio books and podcasts)
The music has decent base (on all iTouch, iPod 5th gen, and Shuffle)
I am now considering the Noise canceling version of Bose.
Comfy fit and hold on the ear
Honestly i took a risk on these. I am a firm believer in:
if you hear it or see it and like it...then get it! No matter who writes reviews, at the end its going to be your ears and eyes (for those video and bluray folk) who will feel and judge.
I take my music and pixel magic a bit more seriously than most people but i am not a hardcore audiophile yet.
I had a good experience with these and i tried the noise canceling versions at a BOSE booth on one of the malls, it was magic to my ears. If your upgrading from the stock headphones, this is definitely a great product. But i suggest trying before buying.
Everyone has a beating audiophile inside them! What kind are you! - Just got them...: Love them. Just got them out of the box, popped them in and they fit great and the sound is astounding. Would tell everyone to get them, they won't be disappointed in the fantastic bose sound.
- Holy Jesus!: These are without doubt the absolute BEST earbuds I have ever experienced. I would never go back to using anything less!
- WOW! New updated Triports are GREAT! : I recently recievd my NEW UPDATED triport earbuds and absolutely love them. Before purchasing these earbuds I read a ton of reviews. Most of the reviews are about the previous versions of this earbud, the ones with the black only cord. They had problems with the earbuds falling off but the new updated versions DO NOT HAVE that problem whatsoever! The new updates triports come with a case, 3 sizes of earbuds, a lanyard for around your neck and a clothes clip. The souund that these earbuds produces is amazing! You can close your eyes and you would swear that you were sitting in a room with a stereo! Overall I would reccomend these to ANYONE who appreciates good qaulity sound on the go!!!!!!!!!!
