ROOSEVELT AWARDS WARSHIP TO NORWAY,1942: 1. A ship, the Haakon VII, is presented to Princess Martha. 2. Tests of Lee tanks. 3. President Camacho reviews a Liberty Day parade in Mexico City. 4. An automobile plant is converted to war production. Other war goods being made. 5. Nelson Rockefeller and President Vargas ratify a trade agreement in Rio de Janeiro. 6. A mock airborne attack.

U.S. FORCES GUARD WEST INDIES OIL,1942

U.S. BOMBERS RAID NAZI-HELD FRANCE,1942: 1. Gen. Eaker supervises the preparation of Flying Forts for a bombing mission. 2. A mailman is awarded an "M" award for home manufacturing of steering gear parts for cargo vessels. 3. U.S. Troops land unopposed on the Aleutian Islands. 4. Pres. Roosevelt sees tanks manufactured and tested at the Chrysler Tank Arsenal in Detroit, tours the Ford bomber plant with Henry Ford and Charles E. Sorenson, and visits Army and Navy installations.

ROOSEVELT'S WAR TOUR OF NATION,1942: 1. Pres. Roosevelt views an air show. 2. Polish citizens parade in N.Y.C. 3. U.S. Troops patrol New Caledonia in jeeps. 4. A flying hero is received by his home town. 5. Anti-aircraft batteries conduct firing practice in western U.S. 6. Frank Knox and Pres. Vargas see Brazilian air cadets graduate in Rio de Janeiro. 7. Planes, guns, and tanks, are loaded on ships.

U.S. PACIFIC WAR HEROES DECORATED,1942: 1. Servicemen receive decorations at Pearl Harbor. 2. Timber is felled in Canada. 3. Walt Disney draws pictures of his cartoon characters in battle dress. 4. Barrage balloons are raised, and camouflaged antiaircraft guns manned in a practice air raid. 5. Army dogs are inspected and trained. 6. Gen. Stilwell speaks to Chinese troops who are then instructed in small arms fire by Army troops. Wendell Willkie meets Chiang Kai-shek.

ALLIED AIRMEN WIN NEW WINGS,1942: 1. Airmen graduate and Canadian military units parade. 2. Prefabricated homes are manufactured, transported, and erected. 3. British sailors on leave harvest hay and corn. 4. Oil-rich sand is processed. 5. A Navy Day parade in N.Y.C. 6. Street tests of a 117-passenger bus. 7. An amphibious assault on the Solomon Islands.
