- Just add it: If your favorite Yes song is Owner of a Lonely Heart stop now.
I have nothing against Rabin (or Kayne, Buford, etc...) but the real Yes is (in alphabetic order) Anderson, Howe, Squire, Wakeman and White. So if you agree then just buy it and you won't regret it.
I skipped "Fish" for a while because I didn't feel like hearing it again but after finally watching it is a must see for all Yes fans.
Also there are a bunch of other songs I have never seen live (e.g. Turn of the Century, Ascend) which make it worth buying. - Yes: Nostalgic trip back to 70's. OK production and sound. Not what I remembered from the good ole days.
- Blu-ray version is far superior.: I purchased the Yes Live at Montreux DVD and was impressed. The 5.1 mix was OK, but the 2.0 Stereo mix had better base response on my audio system. I later got a Play Station 3 and finally got it configured. I acquired a Yes Live at Montreux Blu-ray DVD of this concert. Whoa dude. Even my 13 yr. old nephew was impressed. No comparison. It is like the difference in being there at the show and listening to a bootleg. There are no problems with the Blu-ray audio recording. It is off the chart. I hope they put Yes Symphonic and Live at Tsongas on Blu-ray.
- Can it get any better than this?: I'm a big Yes collector since the '70s but this show exceeded all my expectations. Yes sounds better than ever and the song selection is better than on the Tsongas show, too. For example, the 2003 version of "Awaken" is so much better here than heard from 1977. It's deeper and richer and quite simply will make your hairs stand up -- one of the most stunning live songs I've ever heard.
- Yes! - Yes, go ahead and buy it.:
I rented the Blu-Ray from netflix three days ago and now I bought one here at Amazon. A great addition to your musical BR collection. The PQ and AQ are excellent. The audio is excellent, crisp, clear and precise. The video is great too, well lit(stage), sharp, clear with no visible compression artifacts or blocking. Colors are vivid but not pushy. It's a pleasure to watch. I still have my ticket stubs from the "In The Round" show at MSG.
Yes, I am that old......errr,
