Customer Reviews:

  • ac/dc black ice: the cd was excellent it lives up to the quality of music that the group had done in the past.i would recommend this to anybody .it is a very good addition to my music collection
  • AC/DC still rocking!!!!: Any diehard AC/DC fan has to love this album. This edition is also special due to the information booklet contained within. There are a few, not many, but a few new guitar riffs added to this album, but the bands signature is still intact. AC/DC is one of the few bands that have maintained a consistancy in their music. An example: Any song on this album, you automatically know your listening to AC/DC. They prove that even though they are getting older their song writing abilities, music skills, and vocals are still awesome. The video to "Rock n Roll Train" shows Brian Johnson gettng down just as he did in early times and Angus is still just lovin what he does best. Malcolm still has the touch, and they blend perfectly with each other. The bottom line is, AC/DC still rocks and they talk about life, how it really is, not how most people perceive it to be. Rock on!
  • Insta-Classic AC/DC!: It has been eight years since we last heard a new album from AC/DC, and seven years since we heard a new song from them. God only knows why it took them so long to put out a new album, but Black Ice is here at last. And it does not disappoint at all....

Black Ice opens with Rock 'n Roll Train - the song that we all have been hearing since August (and didn't even realize was new for a few weeks). It is a nice, strong opening done in classic AC/DC style. But moving forward you hear the band delve slightly into Blues on the tracks Skies on Fire, Stormy May Day, and Rock 'n Roll Dream. Of course in between these tracks you hear a lot of classic AC/DC - some of which sounds like a hail back to the Bon Scott days, some sounds like the lesser tracks on Back in Black, and the rest just sounds like the AC/DC we'd all expect. Pretty good stuff, but then you hear the final track - which all I will say about is WOW!!, it is truly one of the best songs AC/DC has ever done in their 30-something year career.

Up until the last track, this album keeps you entertained and pleased. The only complaint is that at one point it does seem to drag on a bit (after all, it is a 15 track album), but it's all worth it.

    Favorite Tracks:

    Rock 'n Roll Train
    Skies on Fire
    Big Jack
    Anything Goes
    War Machine
    Stormy May Day
    Rock 'n Roll Dream
    Black Ice
  • I've got riffs I don't need anymore:
Can I send it to you to get them recycled?

    Angus: Sure!

And it took them eight years to just bring us some more unoriginality and childish cliches. These guys suck in their music and attitude. If you had more people like Angus, their kind of music would never have been invented. Angus would be going, 'rock? Who needs that? Check out this cool banjo solo!' *duck walks*

In terms of sheer mindlessness ACDC and Miley Cyrus are in the same boat.

This recieved an exclusive promotion at Walmart. Whoa!! How rock n' roll can you get?
  • AWESOME!: This CD is AWESOME!!!! What else can I say? Every track on here is a gift from the gods of rock! This is my 3rd favorite album (my first two being For Those About to Rock and Back in Black) from AC/DC. AC/DC never changes their sound and that's why they have so many fans. With all of this new-age "music" AC/DC does not change their style just to fit in with it. They say screw society's "music." This CD is about as good as the music industry is gonna produce for god knows how long so don't miss out! BUY BLACK ICE!!!!
